வணக்கம்
கனடாவில் வாழும் தமிழ் மாணவர் தம் தாய்மொழியைக் கற்க வேண்டும். வரலாறு, பண்பாடு, கலைகள், பழக்க வழக்கங்கள் முதலான விழுமியங்களையும் அதற்கூடாகத் தமிழர் என்ற அடையாளத்தையும் பெருமையுடன் ஏற்று வாழவேண்டும். இக்குறிக்கோள்களைத் தனது இலக்காகக் கொண்டு, தமிழ்க் கல்லூரி கடந்த முப்பது ஆண்டுகளாக இயங்கி வருகிறது. தமிழ்த்துறை, கலைத்துறை எனத் துறைகளை ஏற்படுத்தித் தொடக்கநிலையில், இடைநிலையில், உயர்நிலையில் எனத் தமிழையும் தமிழ்க் கலைகளையும் பயிற்றுவித்து வருகிறது.
மேலும், துறைகள் தோறும் தமிழர் பெருமையுறல் வேண்டும் என்ற நோக்கோடு, அறிவியல், கணிதம், ஆங்கிலம், பிரெஞ்சு போன்ற பாடங்களில் திறன் தேர்வுகளையும் மாணவரின் பொது அறிவினை மேம்படுத்தும் வகையில் பொது அறிவுப் போட்டிகளையும் நடத்தி வருகிறது.
வருவாய் நோக்கற்ற கல்வி நிறுவனமான கனடாத் தமிழ்க் கல்லூரி, தொடர்ச்சியான தனது கல்விப் பணியில், இந்த ஆண்டில் பட்டப்படிப்பு வகுப்புகளையும் தொழில்சார் வகுப்புகளையும் இணைக்கவுள்ளது. இந்நிலையில் நிலைத்த ஓர் இடத்தில், நிலைத்த முகவரியில் சொந்தமான கட்டடத்தில் தன் பணியைத் தொடரவுள்ளது. இந்த நன்முயற்சிக்குத் தமிழ் மக்களின் ஒத்துழைப்பையும் கொடையையும் எதிர்பார்க்கிறோம்.

This is a call for your help!
It is vital that the children of the Tamil diaspora residing in Canada learn their mother language, the Tamil language. Knowledge of the Tamil history, culture, arts, and values are essential for children to realize the importance, pride, and value of their Tamil identity. The Canadian Tamil Academy has been in service for the past 30 years with this as their primary objective. Through their Tamil Department, Arts Department and Competitive Exam Department, the Canadian Tamil Academy has been striving to educate the young generation about the Tamil language and Tamil arts. As a next step in their service in education, the Canadian Tamil Academy will be introducing degree programs and career development programs this year.
The Canadian Tamil Academy has established itself as an organization for secondary education and it is vital that the Academy secures itself a permanent office building of its own to further continue providing their services. The Canadian Tamil Academy, a not-for-profit organization, is calling on the Tamil community’s support in this effort through donations.
